 | CiCi took the Calgary’s Beat Niq jazz club by storm on Wednesday, September
6th, 2006. “I’ve never seen anything like this in here before!” blurted an unnamed staffer at the club. CiCi was playful on stage, interacting with both the band and the audience. The band was especially hot, inspired by the room and the soulful vocalist they were backing, each member
showcasing their talents with many extended solos. CiCi and her Quartet closed the show with a unique arrangement of “That Old Black Magic” done with a samba beat that resulted in the audience clearing the tables and dancing!
